Itinerari situat a la Platja de la Tancada, al Parc Natural del Delta de l’Ebre, a la comarca del Montsià. Es troba per tant a nivell del mar, i recorre 1.919 m en 8 seccions diferenciades. L’itinerari es realitza des de l’any 2002.
Discorre al llarg de la platja, darrere de dunes i arrossars, en una de les zones més populars i emblemàtiques del Delta de l’Ebre. Un indret especialment ben situat per observar moviments migratoris i on es recullen la major part de les observacions dins de la xarxa del CBMS de la papallona tigre Danaus chrysippus.
