Daurat de punta taronja (Thymelicus sylvestris) - Pau Ortega i Colet
Itinerari situat al municipi de Torroella de Fluvià, a l'Alt Empordà. Té una longitud total de 2.189 metres dividits en 11 seccions, a una alçada mitjana de 7 m sobre el nivell del mar. Tot i que els comptatges es van iniciar al 2021, no ha estat fins al 2022 què les seccions s'han acabat de definir.
El recorregut transita bàsicament per camins agrícoles, entre conreus i també a tocar del bosc de ribera del riu Fluvià, llevat de les seccions 7 i 8, que transcorren fora de camí entre prats mediterranis de matollars baixos. Els camins entre conreus presenten una alta varietat: fruiters abandonats (seccció 1), intensius de blat de moro (secció 2), d’alfals (secció 3), fruites de conreu tradicional (seccions 4 i 10) i pomers de DO controlada (secció 5).
Pel què fa als camins propers a la ribera, aquests transcorren entre camps agrícoles i la llera del Fluvià, destacant el de la secció 9, en l’antic Bosc de Ribera de l’Illa de l’Albanyà (s. XI-XII).
La secció 7 és a tocar d’un embassament d’aigua freàtica que aflora d’una antiga extracció d’àrids. La bassa és força consolidada i presenta una alta biodiversitat tal com es pot observar per la quantitat i varietat de papallones, vegetació diversa i nombrosos vertebrats, mentre que la secció 8 és de brolla amb romaní, llistons i estepes, força feréstega i de trànsit dificultós.
