209 - El Sallent

Itinerari situat al municipi de Santa Pau, a la comarca de la Garrotxa. Amb una longitud total de 1.820 metres, consta de 10 seccions que el recorren a una alçada mitjana de 342 metres. Els comptatges es van iniciar l'any 2022.

Gran part de l'itinerari transcorre dintre de la finca de Rocacorba del Sallent, en el Sallent, veinat de Santa Pau. El transsecte passa majoritariament per ambients de prats de dall, combinats amb bosc caducifoli mixt, bosc de ribera i alzinar mediterràni. Com a curiositat, durant els anys 70 i 80 el Sallent va patir un ús per part de molts entomòlegs que l'utilitzaven per a la captura de papallones.
