186 - Son Boter

L'estació de Son Boter es troba al sud de Menorca. Recorre part del barranc del mateix nom al seu tram mitjà, solca la plataforma calcària del sud de l’illa de Menorca de nord a sud i fa frontera entre els municipis d’Es Migjorn Gran i  d'Alaior. Té 9 seccions amb una longitud total de 2.224 metres, i està situada a una altitud mitjana de 20 metres. Va estar actiu els anys 2021 i 2022.

Itinerari promogut arran d'un projecte d'investigació de les papallones als barrancs de Menorca, que desenvolupa Pau Colom Montojo, i que ha entrat a formar part de la xarxa CBMS. Transcorre entre dues altes parets de materials miocènics on trobem diverses fonts. Orografia plana. Enmig hi passa un torrent que té aigua tot l'any. Hi ha vàries fonts a diferents altures de les parets del barranc. Hi trobem restes de dos antics molins. Cal destacar una petita omeda a la tercera secció. Es dedica a la ramaderia principalmente a la producción de farratges.
