Muntanyesa de mollera (Erebia oeme) - Pau Ortega i Colet
L'estació de Turmadèn es troba al municipi d'Alaior, a Menorca. Té 9 seccions amb una longitud total de 1.990 metres, i està situada a una alçada mitjana de 100 metres. L'any 2016 va començar a mostrejar-se tot l'any de manera mensual. A partir de 2020 es mostrejava cada quinze dies ininterrompudament durant tot l'any, i va seguir actiu fins el 2022.
Recorre l'interior de la finca de Turmadèn des Capità, situada damunt de terrenys miocènics, i està conformada per un mosaic de pastures i ullastrar. A les zones baixes presenta una plana d'inundació amb sediments quaternaris emprada com a zona de pastura extensiva per uns 20 caps de boví de raça menorquina. A les àrees més fresques es poden trobar bosquetons de prunyoners (Prunus spinosa) i espinals (Crataegus monogyna).
El recorregut comença per la part més oberta de la finca, travessant camps de conreu per un camí de parets vegetades. A continuació agafa alçada a la vegada que s'endinsa en un mosaic que alterna camps conreats extensius de secà rodejats d'ullastres. El recorregut arriba fins a la zona on els camps estan menys conreats i prenen protagonisme els matolls d'ullastre i mata fins arribar a la secció 7, que travessa una parcel·la forestal.
